The Eurovision Song
Contest 1961 was the sixth Eurovision Song Contest. It was the
first time Luxembourg won the contest. Finland, Spain and
Yugoslavia made debut this year. Since then, Spain never left
competition. The festival took place at the Palais des Festivals -
Cannes, France Each country had 10 jury members who each awarded 1
point to their favorite song.
