The
Eurovision Song Contest 1960 was the fifth Eurovision Song
Contest. Even though the
Netherlands had
won the contest in 1959, they declined to host the 1960 contest so
soon after hosting the
1958 event so
handed the honour to the United Kingdom. The contest was held at the
Royal Festival Hall. France's win was their
second.
